Membership
Bead Society Membership (in the Bead Society of Orange County) gives you many opportunities to participate in keeping alive the history, lore, the creation of, and the use of beads as they pertain to the past, the present, and the future. We also offer continued learning through our workshops, networking through our meetings, and the sharing of your expertise through various programs that the society sponsors throughout the year. All members are also eligible to sell their beads and other created items of adornment at our annual member-to-member sale. Bead Society membership makes you eligible to submit an application for vendor status at the annual Art of Adorning Bead Bazaar, held on the grounds of the Bowers Museum each April.
Because the Bead Society of Orange County is an affiliate of the Bowers Museum, membership in our society must also include a dual and simultaneous membership with the Bowers.
Bead Society Annual Memberships are as follows-
BSOC Membership, Student $15 (with proof of student ID or transcript)
A “student” is an individual taking courses for credit that will apply toward a degree, a certificate for a specific trade, or a high school diploma. Student members intending to sell at the Art of Adorning are a business membership. They will be required to pay the difference in their Bead Society membership fee when they submit as a vendor.
BSOC Membership, Individual, is 25.00 annually
BSOC Membership, Business/Couple/Family, is 40.00 annually
